what would you think if I read some of your episodes in some of my videos? It's probably kimchi Just kind of cool with a Q like spelled cool unique. Quimchee. Okay. I gotta ask her about that alright Let's take a look at the synopsis Dogged by pain and misfortune from the very beginning Shinae decides that she wants nothing to do with people nor anything to do with romance Although content with her unsocial boring loveless existence her lifestyle is challenged after she ruins an unsuspecting strangers clothes Whoo all right so this must be her and this must be two guys and okay love triangle? Let's start with the prologue guys.
Is it true what the heck's going on - kids playing experience life through the eyes of a child Seems like we see a mom and dad and two kids when will we be able to see all the magic and wonder the world? Has to offer the kids continue playing? It seems like we have a boy and a girl, but someone grabs the rest of one of the kids I don't remember seeing anything magical when I was a child Oh, no the girls getting dragged away That was when it all began the mother drags the little girl away from the little boy the pain She walked away with my sister without explanation sister is hurt..Sister? Oh, I think this is the main character okay that that's the girl Shinae I guess they dressed her as a boy when she was a kid maybe she's a tomboy the mother walks away She takes the sister with her the sister can do nothing but look back Did I do something wrong my father swore that we'd be together forever in the end? He couldn't do anything the father looks so stressed out dude come on man hang in there. It'll be all right That was the only time I had seen him so powerless we close in on Shinae's face filled with despair He insisted that it wasn't but I couldn't help but wonder "Was I a bad kid, was it my fault?" The mother drags the sister getting farther and farther away that they left "we'll be happy again," my father told me "Be strong," so I started telling myself "everything is going to be okay." I'm going to be happy again, but why is everyone being so cold to me? Oh dude it she gets bullied at school What are these adults are these students? Dude they look so much bigger than her please? Just tell me why why are they doing this to me? What have I done wrong to be treated like this I wanted to make friends, but they all pushed me away. What? Why didn't anybody tell me they tell me to go away? Dude is this really what they're writing on her notebook What the hell dude trash? Ugly that nobody wants me here. Not here not anywhere stay strong I just tell myself as they call me terrible names Don't let them weaken you with their words.
Stay strong even when they judge you! "Stay strong." I just tell myself as their backs face towards me "stay strong" Ah, dude. Look everybody just leaves her by herself and walks away from her how long can I keep this up? It's getting harder to hide the pain it feels Like I'm suffocating. I don't care about happiness anymore. I just want to feel okay again Okay, is all I need I'll do it Okay, so it's like an underwater to kind of show that she feels like she's drowning not gonna Lie this kinda looks like she peed herself.
I'm sorry to just saying- Later that day or later in the future at the ZU. Okay, I see what you did there kimchi. This is based in South Korea and here in Korea There's all these convenience stores called CU as in the letter C. And U but obviously she can't use that cuz it's an actual brand so she renamed it to ZU.
I got you. Footsteps someone approaches. It's Shinae. She walks inside She grabs a basket she heads down one of the aisles.
Oh beef flavor good choice only fifty cents not too bad Okay, I want to live in this comic dude everything's cheaper than in actual life She grabs the beef flavor for only 50 cents good choice Just then two people walk in oh my god really not even kidding Ahaha! That's hilarious! 'I know right?!' Oh the two people noticed Shinae over in the other aisle. 'Wow didn't think we'd see you here.' 'Oh, my god. Just look at the way she's dressed.' 'Where do you even get your clothes?' 'Probably the same place you go to get clothes for dogs.' 'Don't you mean pigs?' Ahahaha. 'You're right.' Shinae can do nothing But stand there as the 2d grater in public.
She says nothing. 'Do you think she's going to break down?' 'I heard that's what happened in the past.' 'I bet you she will.' 'Such a loser.' She glares at them she begins stepping towards them And she walks right by them completely ignoring them.. As you should do. Do not give people like that attention It's now raining Shinae steps outside to see you, rain.
She looks up at the sky, but she just stands there Doesn't even care she looks down toward the horizon and then back just then She continues staring at the horizon I've been taking hits from life for as long as I can remember, and I'm totally fine with it I'll just focus on moving forward for as long as I can maybe one day Just maybe I'll be ok once more she continues walking And that's the end of the prologue okay, very interesting Prologue so far definitely pulls at your heartstrings a little bit I think a lot of people can relate to someone like Shinae And I think that's maybe why this is a really popular and trending comic right now that was just a prologue We haven't even gotten episode 1 yet Which we're about to do right now a bead of water sits on a resting leaf eat sleep study That's pretty much all I do some say I have a boring life But you know what? I'm satisfied with it. That's all. I'm good at anyway 50% how? Disappointing is that for a class average. I've said this time and time again We have tutors available after school, but teacher hands out tests I guess a lot of people are getting a low grade every day of the week you guys never utilize them And do you guys even read your books also? No I'm not going to curve the test nor give out extra credit I am NOT spoiling you all any longer.
She shot who's the one who's actually spoiled. It's not like I'm gonna need it I. Studied all week long for this test after all what did I get anyway? It was pretty easy, so I should have gotten an 85% at least She looks at her test 68% well I love you a 68% can you to believe that and then she assumes that none of us are reading our books okay? It seems like we're on the third floors or the roof of the school I don't know about the others But I know I've read that's all I do I even pulled several all-nighters to make sure I didn't miss anything It looks like she's talking to two of her friends But they seem baffled as well so much for getting that scholarship at the University. You know what since they made good money I'll just be a stripper instead um are you sure about that what? Shit, I don't think it's going to work first of all they deal with plenty of creeps second you need to watch what you're eating To maintain good shape I love how they're saying that as she's eating a bag of potato chips Beef flavor mind you and third you're kind of lacking on some departments I don't know if there are any people that would pay for flat strippers It's called a boob job She throws her chips on them pay good.
I. Like her come on Shanae. There are plenty of other ways to make a living you know What why don't you end that no dating attitude of yours Rica's right who knows you might get lucky and get yourself a rich Man, okay, so you're saying Become a gold digger They both have blank expressions. I don't think that's what they meant no.
I was saying maybe when you find a guy He'll provide for you. So you won't have to worry about a thing well. It doesn't work that way today We all need to put in our own weight, maybe a decade ago. That would be fine, but I forget it I'll figure something out whining isn't going to fix anything ring-ring Sounds like the bell to school.
Just rang looks like lunch is over after class you want to grab some burgers. I'm paying hmm of course Why would I say no to that all right? All right? Call myself we're heading back to class then we'll meet you outside our classroom after school By the way if the coughs thing doesn't work out you can always become a housewife Not a chance she throws more potato chips on it calm down. I was only kidding later that day class 4a blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah Oh blah blah blah blah blah blah blah oh-ho You're so so la blah blah as everybody is tuned out and we don't care what they're saying Shanae sits in the back of the class probably doodling thinking Upset when did college become so expensive is it even possible for a high school student to work a full time job Oh, she's calculating the expenses of how much classes cost holy crap, dude I know dude seriously college is so expensive like I feel bad, and it just gets more expensive every year I am so glad I graduated working a year part-time at minimum wage only yields enough for a semester at the University I could always take a break from school to save up, but I don't think my dad would approve how to IFA. Yeah, no way that's ever gonna happen not that I have anything against marriage.
You're dating or love for that matter scribble scribble scribble Cute little doodles, dude. I see I knew she was gonna doodle I just don't want to go through what my father did after the split Not to mention what the children are put through? She continues doodling Flashback blah blah blah blah Sheena can do nothing but watch from a corner, huh? And it seems that these images show that the father became kind of an alcoholic maybe moved back to the present Shin Hae continues thinking she's all alone in her own world hmm She notices someone's staring at her oh One of the guys from her classroom is looking right at her and it looks like he's interested in her just then Okay, all right That's how I would react toOkay, guys I'm not showing you the last couple of panels if you want to check out the ending. I think this girl Shanae is definitely something that a lot of people girls as well as guys can resonate with you know It's a classic kind of loner character. That's like antisocial anti-society Suffers a lot of issues that a lot of people these days You and I both have probably went through at some point in our life I think Quimchee did a great job with not only the illustrations, but also the character development I'm really curious to see where this is gonna go and where things are gonna Lead so if you guys are interested in I Love Yoo, and you want to see more of it, Please let me know in the comments, and I'll be sure to continue the series.
